OrKidstra End of Year Concert 2014
WOW. There are no words that can describe the pride that has filled our hearts. OrKidstra’s End of Year Concert 2014 was incredible. The kids are talented, wonderful and respectful young people and we could not be more proud of everything they have accomplished. We have received many messages from concert guests of praise, appreciation and thanks. The one below is particularly heart-warming.
“It was a marvelous afternoon. Everyone involved was so with it. The concert will be in my heart and memory forever. The youngest group was so attentive and skillful. One little girl was a treat to watch – her knuckles were lifted so high and yet she was in perfect rhythm. The choir was excellent. I was glued to one little curly haired boy who kept dancing on the spot while singing.. And, of course, the orchestra was just amazing. What an accomplishment for the musicians. I really liked the way the numbers were introduced with a touch of personal history. Bravo to all the teachers, students, organizers and volunteers.”
The event would not have been so successful without the dedication, hard-work and help from our amazing volunteers and parent volunteers. Thank you all for being so committed and such amazing role models for our kids.
Thank you to our AMAZING teachers, mentors, OrKidstra staff and board of directors. Your continuous hard work is a true inspiration and we would never be where we are now without you all. Thank you to our incredible, committed and patient parents for bringing the students every week – rain or shine! You are the key to their success.
Thank you to everyone that attended this years concert and generously donated. We are so grateful as every little bit helps and allows us to continue running this program.
Last, but certainly not least, a huge, huge, HUGE thank you to Ms. Margaret, and Ms. Tina. These two women are why we are, where we are today. Their team-work, perseverance, patience, love and faith in this program has allowed OrKidstra to grow and flourish to where we are.
Congratulations OrKidstra students, take a bow.
