OrKidstra expands to Vanier!
In keeping with our strategic plan, OrKidstra is excited to expand into Vanier in September! KiddlyWinks, KidSingers, KidStringers and KidPlayers programs will be delivered at Rideau High School in September 2016.
OrKidstra introduced itself to the Vanier community by giving a Showcase Concert followed by a reception at Rideau High School on May 6. Many families who will join the program in the fall came to find out what OrKidstra is all about; they were joined in the audience by many supporters, politicians and people who are active in the community.
As we have come to expect, the performers did not disappoint. The KiddlyWinks from R.E Wilson and Queen Elizabeth Schools were enchanting, the Wind and String Ensembles were impressive and the Senior OrKidstra, joined by Rideau High band members rocked the hall! A successful start to a new venture!
