Released in November 2018, Crescendo: Strategy 2032 aims to explain OrKidstra’s plans for the future and share our goals publicly. We invite you to join in the journey as OrKidstra and its students create an exciting future where every child has the chance to find their voice and build their potential—and our community—through music. This ambitious, yet achievable plan aims to help over 1,600 kids from under-served areas of Ottawa to reach for success through music by 2032. View the plan now!

Families are welcome to submit applications for new students throughout the year. At this time, you will be added to a waitlist. When space becomes available, a member of the OrKidstra team will contact you about next steps.

Due to our limited number of spots available, we are currently only enrolling students who were 5 years or older as of June 1, 2024 (born before June 1, 2019). We can see that your child is currently too young, and therefore we are unable to offer you a spot in the program at this time.

We are currently accepting students who live or attend school in the Centretown, Vanier/Overbook and Heron Gate communities. Based on your home address and/or where your child attends school, we are unable to offer you a place in the program at this time.
