OrKidstra and CTV Morning Live!
On Wednesday March 12, bright and early, at 6:30 am the OrKidstra Youth Group found themselves in the OrKidstra main office. With a bright studio light shining, a large camera aimed at them and a bubbly hostess the kids went on CTV Morning Live!
OrKidstra was featured at different times between 7:00 am and 10:00 am. Ms. Tina, Ms. Tegan, Mr. Paul and Ms. Karen were all interviewed and spoke about their experiences at OrKidstra!
Some of the youth group were interviewed and spoke with confidence and expertise. The performers were fortunate to be joined by Marjolaine Fournier, double bassist with the NAC orchestra and Patty Chan. Patty is an Erhu player from Toronto who played beautifully during Dragon Dances. Congratulations on a job well done, especially so early in the morning! Great job everyone!The youth group performed Mozart, Brandenburg, James Bond, Mamma Mia, Cantina Band and Dragon Dances! Dragon Dances will be featured in our upcoming concert, Cultures in Concert.
