CAMP OrKidstra/Teaching Artist Training Workshop – July 8 to 12, 2019
Thanks to continued support from the community, CAMP OrKidstra and OrKidstra’s Teaching Artist Training Workshop (July 8 to 12, 2019) were a big success!
CAMP OrKidstra brought together over 70 students and 12 Leaders-in-Training (LITs) from both the Centretown and Vanier Hubs for a week filled with music, learning, games, outdoors activities, friendship and fun! We are honoured to dedicate our OrKidstra summer programs (CAMP OrKidstra) to the memory of Anne Taylor.
OrKidstra’s first-ever week-long Teaching Artist Training Workshop was made possible by support from the Ottawa Community Foundation. Over 30 participants spent a week learning more about music as a means of social change, gaining important entrepreneurial skills and honing their musical craft and teaching abilities in an interactive environment.
