July 8-12: OrKidstra Summer Workshops!
Teaching Artist Training Workshop
(Monday, July 8 to Friday, 12, 2019 – Ottawa, ON)
OrKidstra is growing…We’re looking for dynamic people to grow with us!
Musicians/Music Educators are invited to learn in-demand Teaching Artist skills in a practical environment. Thanks to the Ottawa Community Foundation, the OrKidstra Teaching Artist Training Workshop will be offered FREE OF CHARGE (value $500) to accepted applicants! As space is limited, all interested individuals are asked to complete a short application to determine eligibility and gauge interest. Participants will receive an official Teaching Artist Certificate of Workshop Completion at the end of the intensive! The Workshop will be led by experienced facilitators like Margaret Tobolowska, Tina Fedeski, Kathryn Cobbler, Andrew Gesing, Loulou Paquette and many more. Please note: All accepted applicants will be asked to provide a refundable deposit of $250 (post-dated cheque) to secure their spot in the program – please indicate this on the cheque. Please note that the Workshop now starts on Monday, July 8, 2019 and will take place at the Bronson Centre (211 Bronson Avenue, Ottawa).
